2016 Christmas Competition

So many wonderful entries

We have had a very tough time picking a winner from all the wonderful entries . Each and every one of them look festive and unique. Thank you to everyone who has participated in our competition, your work is amazing and we have had a difficult time in choosing a winner.

Our Winner of our first ever Christmas Competition is Sandy Kiester‎.

Sandy’s winning entry was made with a combination of blocks from two of our designs. The diagonal block from the Diagonal tote bag and the Dear Allison Block #10. Sandy made this as a gift and wasn’t sure if it would be used as a table Runner or Wall Hanging, so she just added 2 buttons at the top & ribbon for her friend to choose the option. Sandy also had a few more entries in this competition and whilst it was the above entry that caught our eye, her other entries were wonderful as well. What we loved about Sandy’s entry is that Sandy’s largest hoop is the 4x4 and she still has managed to achieve such wonderful results with imagination, creativity and talent. Congratulations Sandy, we are sure the recipients of your wonderful gifts will treasure them.

The following video has just a handful of the fantastic work entered into the competition.

Christmas is a perfect time to 'deck the halls' of our homes with festive decorations .

Often these decorations become heirlooms, being brought out year after year with wonderful memories attached to them. Sometimes these decorations commemorate a child's first Christmas or even to celebrate adult children coming home to visit. Whatever the reason these decorations become part of our family's history. Being able to make your own unique decorations attach even more importance to them.
