BOW (Block of the Week) Monster Dance Quilt Block 1 in the 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7 or 8x8 hoop
There are a total of 16 blocks mystery quilt with a new release each Tuesday leading up to Halloween. Each block can be made in the 4x4, 5x5, 6x6 or 7x7 size hoop. The blocks are quilted in the hoop.
The first blocks feature the skeleton band playing a spooky tune for all the dance guests!
Our finished sample quilt will be four blocks wide by four blocks high. There will be 16 main blocks in total to complete the sample quilt:

There will be additional optional borders released for this project.

What does BOW Mystery Quilt stand for?
BOW stands for Block of the Week. “Mystery” refers to the quilt design being revealed one block at a time over approximately 9 to 12 weeks. Dependent on the quilt design there will be up to 12 blocks and usually borders that can be joined together once the final block has been released.
How much fabric will I need?
The fabric requirements depend on the size you choose to stitch and your interpretation of the design. Each block will come with a materials list that includes the required dimensions.
Is there a sewing tutorial for the BOW Sew Along?
Each block will be released with comprehensive written instructions. However, there will not be a video tutorial for this type of Sew Along. These resources from the Sweet Pea Studio may assist in adding borders, joining odd-shaped blocks and more, or you can always ask within our friendly Facebook Group!
Will there be assembly instructions to put the blocks together?
Yes, assembly instructions will be provided towards the end of the Sew Along to help you complete your Mystery Quilt.
Are there specific rules to enter the Sew-Along competition?
Yes, the rules and guidelines for the Sew Along, as well as details about prizes you can win, are mentioned in the release post. This post is published when the design first comes out and is always pinned to the Featured section within the Facebook Group.
Can I enter the competition more than once?
Yes, as outlined in the Sew Along rules, you can submit multiple entries.
Why have I not been accepted into the Facebook Sew Along group?
Most likely, you haven’t agreed to the group rules or answered the joining questions. Please ensure you complete these steps and then request to rejoin.
