Sweet Pea's Sew Alongs & Mystery Quilts
A sew-along brings together embroidery fans from around the world in making the same design at the same time through our various Facebook groups. Our Sweet Pea Machine Embroidery Design Sew-Alongs are one of the most fun and exciting parts of our month, with two embroidery design sew alongs running every month and one bag sew along bi-monthly! We also have two mystery quilt sew alongs; a Block of the Week that runs seasonally, and a Block of the Month that goes all year.
Monthly Sew Along
Get ready for the festive season with this beautiful poinsettia pot plant hanger, featuring delicate embroidery to showcase the beauty of these seasonal florals. This ITH design also comes with a thread chart for the flowers and leaves.
This Christmas or winter machine embroidery design is made with 4 hoopings, with the blocks joined using a regular sewing machine, as well as adding the backing.
You could also use mylar under the poinsettia leaves and petals for some sparkle!
KISS Sew Along
A fun purse with three different styles - checkered to show off your favourite threads, Funky Flowers to bring to life a cute floral and geometric look, or quilted to let your fabric be the hero. The checkered and floral designs also come with thread charts if you want to replicate our samples!
This machine embroidery design also features two ways to finish the top of the purse - our new square ended technique to add bag loops, and our rounded top finish found in our other zipper purse designs.
Requires three hoopings and the purse is completely lined with no raw seams. The zip is even inserted in the hoop! Final assembly is done with a regular sewing machine.
Bag Technique Sew Along
A beautiful round-bottom bag that you can make for anyone and any occasion! Choose from three panel designs - checkered to show off your favourite threads, Funky Flowers to bring to life a cute floral and geometric look, or quilted to let your fabric be the hero.
The checkered and floral designs also come with thread charts if you want to replicate our samples!
This bag also matches the Mix and Match Zipper Purse. Making a toiletry style bag? Stitch a smaller version of the purse to go with this one. Looking to make more of a handbag? You can add a strap to the purse so it can be added inside the handbag.

There is a fair bit of machine sewing required and we recommend you are of an intermediate level.
