Sweet Pea's Sew Alongs & Mystery Quilts
A sew-along brings together embroidery fans from around the world in making the same design at the same time through our various Facebook groups. Our Sweet Pea Machine Embroidery Design Sew-Alongs are one of the most fun and exciting parts of our month, with two embroidery design sew alongs running every month and one bag sew along bi-monthly! We also have two mystery quilt sew alongs; a Block of the Week that runs seasonally, and a Block of the Month that goes all year.

Monthly Sew Along
Inspired by our famous Bookshelf Quilt, this hanger is perfect on its own or to match the quilt! The simple hanger design makes it achievable for all skill levels, with two add-on blocks for the top of the stack you can buy separately to really make it your own.
Highly customisable with add-on panels (purchased separately) and room to add titles to the book spines (using your machine's text functionality), this is a great way to show your love of books or as a gift for the reader in your life.
The wall hanging requires 3 hoopings as there are three different blocks included. The panels are then joined together and the borders and backing are added using a sewing machine.

KISS Sew Along
Featuring a fun herringbone pattern, inspired by architecture and interior design, this quick one-hooping project is a great stash buster or afternoon craft! Perfect for storing coins or sewing bits and bobs, or as a gift or to sell at a market.
Using the flip and fold technique, you can create different illusions with different colours and patterns.
The purse is made entirely in the hoop. There is a small amount of hand stitching required to seal the final opening, you could also use fabric glue for this if preferred.

Bag Technique Sew Along
A fun little tote with a frame to keep it open for easy access! Features a simple geometric quilting design to give a trapunto look and let your fabric choice shine.
You will need to buy (we recommend Zakka or Emmaline) or DIY (we used Bonsai Wire) the frame - a hardware list with more information and instructions to DIY the frame are all included in this project.
Full photo instructions are included with this design, this covers how to create the individual blocks as well as outlining how to assemble the bag. A video tutorial is also included further down on this product page.
There is a fair bit of machine sewing required and we recommend you are of an intermediate level.
