Go to our September Design: Celtic Braided RunnerA sew-along brings together embroidery fans from around the world in making the same design at the same time through our various Facebook groups. Our Monthly Sew Along is about making the project your own, whether that be through your fabric choices, thread colours, embellishments, or skipping certain steps!
Plus participate in our Facebook group to share your progress with fellow enthusiasts, ask questions, have fun, and have the opportunity to win prizes.

Celtic Braided Runner
2 - 29 September
A beautiful Celtic-inspired runner, featuring weaving braids and optional redwork knot embroidery.
This runner includes four different blocks. We used a variety of blocks and optional embroidery in our samples, with the sample in our instructions featuring two ends panels (left and right), two middle panels (left and right), and one central middle panel. Examples of different layouts are included in the instructions and a diagram for printing can be found in Educational Resources below.
All blocks are made in the hoop and then joined with a regular sewing machine.
