I really like machine embroidery that emulates fabric or follows in the shadows of traditional quilting patterns. Clever digitising is a joy to watch stitch out, and bright, in-your-face fabrics and thread make for a very happy me!  The opportunity to create dimensional projects, either in the hoop or assembled after stitching, is what I like most.
