“What is a mug rug?”
A mug rug looks like a pot holder, but functions like an oversized coaster or a mini placemat.
Not only does it add a pop of colour to office and table decor, but it keeps condensation from cold drinks from pooling and heat from hot drinks damaging tables and desks.

At the end of the month we have a fun competition and prizes within the group for anyone who wants to participate.
The best part is that each month our Sew-Along Group members get a unique discount code for their sew-along design.

AUSTRALIAN MUG RUG DESIGNS
KOALA & KANGAROO MUG RUG - Our Koala and Kangaroo mug rugs are add-on blocks for our Australian Animals Table Runner design.
This beautiful table runner was designed to feature some of our lesser known Aussie animals. However, by popular demand we have added our true-blue, fair dinkum Aussie Icons into the mix.
Both of these designs were released at the same that Australia was being ravaged by bushfires.
We saw this as an opportunity to provide assistance in way of donations for the sale of these much requested add-on blocks/mug rugs. The full cost of these blocks was and continues to be donated to charities assisting in recover and rejuvenation of Australian Wildlife in areas impacted by fire.
AUSTRALIAN FLORAL MUG RUGS - These mug rugs are based on the floral emblems of Australia.
The flowers are all embroidery and the background uses the stitch and flip method, this is all done in the hoop.

Hi Nancy, unfortunately we don’t have the kookaburra as a separate block, but I can add this to the team’s customer requests! We do have a few individual kookaburra designs in the meantime: https://swpea.com.au/search?q=NOT%20tag:__gift%20AND%20kookaburra*&type=product
