Chenille Chevron Bag. The design can be made in either the 4x4 or 5x5 size hoop.
The Chenille effect is achieved by using multiple layers of fabric. To get the perfect chenille effect on your blocks, the fabric needs to be cut along the bias. The bias grain runs at a 45º angle to the selvedge of the fabric, as well as to the straight and cross grains.
There is one block which is made multiple times (8 for the front and 8 for the back). The blocks are joined and the bag is assembled using a regular sewing machine.
Finished sizes of the bag (approx.):
- 4x4 = 41cm W x 31cm H x 6cm D (16" x 12" x 2 ½”)
- 5x5 = 51cm W x 35.5cm H x 6cm D (20" x 14" x 2 ½”)
They are quick and easy to sew making them perfect for craft market stalls or gifts.

Designs are provided in 9 different embroidery formats. The formats included are: DST, EXP*, HUS, JEF, PEC, PES, VIP, VP3 and XXX.
*BMP and INF files are also provided, these are recommended to be used with the EXP files for Bernina machines.
SVG files are included for cutting machines. Please note the SVG format can be converted to FCM within the Brother Scan n Cut software if required.
